We recently began meeting with the Executive Management of the component where
the policies were out of date. This helped a bit, but it's like fine wine, not
before it's time. The policy stewards all have reasons for the delays. So we
are at this point only reporting, but reporting to Executive Leadership.

One question I forgot to ask - what do you do with policies you consider
delinquent besides reporting on them?

Subject: [acupa-l] When is a policy delinquent?

Recently, we had a flurry of emails re: review cycles. At UTMB Health in
Galveston, we send out a request for review every three years (well,
specifically at two years and nine months). A little over a year ago, I
started reporting on policies that were outside of their triennial review
cycle. I consider a policy that is one year outside of its review cycle to be
delinquent. I am wondering if all y'all have similar parameters and if so,
what percentage of your policies are outside of your review particular review
cycle.
We are currently at 14%.
