Here are the university-wide awards at Ohio State:

We also have a "years of service" luncheon that you get invited to starting at
25 years and then every 5 years after that. When I went at 25 years, there was
a faculty member that had 45 or 50 years of service!!

Subject: [acupa-l] Service Recognition Policy

Dear Colleagues,

Do any of you have a "service recognition" policy (or practice) that you could
share with me? I am particularly interested in one that uses "outstanding
service" as the basis for giving awards, in addition to "years of service."
It would be good to see what criteria are used for determining "outstanding
service," who is involved in making that determination, the kinds of awards
that are given, etc.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Chris
