I want to thank everyone who sent me a response to my question yesterday
regarding service recognition policies/practices. All have been extremely
helpful! I would respond individually to each of you, but it seems like the
"reply" function on this list-serve is set up to respond to the entire group,
and I didn't want to flood the list-serve with a half dozen or so "thank yous"!

Subject: [acupa-l] Service Recognition Policy

Dear Colleagues,

Do any of you have a "service recognition" policy (or practice) that you could
share with me? I am particularly interested in one that uses "outstanding
service" as the basis for giving awards, in addition to "years of service."
It would be good to see what criteria are used for determining "outstanding
service," who is involved in making that determination, the kinds of awards
that are given, etc.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Chris
