Hi Rachel,

KU's ACA policies can be found here: Employee Eligibility Requirements for the
Affordable Care Act
(ACA)<http://policy.ku.edu/human-resources/employee-eligibility-aca> and
Graduate Research Assistants (GRAs) and Affordable Care Act (ACA)
Compliance<http://policy.ku.edu/human-resources/graduate-research-assistants-aca-compliance>.

We developed two policies, one outlining employee eligibility and one for GRAs
specifically as there are some particularly challenging issues that arise with
regard to counting of hours for these graduate student employees.

Happy to answer any questions you may have about our policies.

Thanks,
Amy

Subject: [acupa-l] ACA Policies

Good Morning,

Our HR department has sent me a policy draft showing Wake Tech is in compliance
with the next stages of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). It seems like a lot of
unnecessary information and I'm not even sure we need a policy that shows how
we are in compliance with the ACA. It seems like they could just revise our
policy on healthcare benefits. I'm still in the research stage of this and was
wondering if any other colleges already have something similar to this that
they would be willing to share.

Thanks in advance,
Rachel
