Subject: Re: [acupa-l] Policy Research

We've not been successful getting telework here, but we've researched it a
couple times and found the best role models (from our view) are University of
Arizona and University of Michigan. So based just on our review, here's the
materials we used to evaluate.

The main Arizona site is: http://lifework.arizona.edu/wls/telework

http://www.hr.arizona.edu/files/TeleEmpGuidelines.pdf These are the
guidelines.

University of Michigan requires a signed agreement that is very comprehensive:
http://www.hr.umich.edu/worklife/docs/teleagree.pdf

Michigan State also has a comprehensive program -
http://www.hr.msu.edu/telecommuting/ and they specifically bring in the ADA
aspect.

I have been asked to do some research in two policy areas:

          Telecommuting / Teleworking

          Nursing Mothers

If you have anything in place that has been working for you in either or both
of these areas, I would appreciate knowing about it.

Thanks,

Alan

P.S. I thought the sessions at the Orlando conference were very beneficial to
me as a new kid. I also really enjoyed getting to know some of you, and wish
there had been time to chat in person with more of you.
