Hi Mindy,

At KU such information is presented to students via the Student Housing
Handbook. This
link<http://housing.ku.edu/sites/housing.ku.edu/files/media/content/14-15%20SH%20Handbook.pdf>
will take you to the 2014-2015 academic year edition.

Page 8 states: Routine Health and Safety Inspections: Each semester student
housing staff will enter suites and apartments for health and safety
inspections. Residents will be notified at least one week in advance and then
again 24 hours before the inspections.

I hope this reply is helpful!

Subject: [acupa-l] Facilities Management policy

Good Afternoon,

Does anyone have a policy that they can share with me regarding Facilities
Management/maintenance or custodial employees entering students rooms to
perform maintenance or cleaning? Policy and Process would be helpful if at all
possible. Thanks!

Thanks and Have a Great Day!
