Subject: Re: [acupa-l] athletics venues alcohol policies

Hi bob,
It's nice to hear from you.
Here are the documents that we have to assist you:
Liquor licensed venues
http://www.policy.umn.edu/Policies/Operations/OPMisc/ALCOHOL_APPA.html
(three of our stadiums are covered: basketball, football, hockey) It covers
distilled spirits (hard liquor), wine, beer and malt beverages (together,
"alcoholic beverages"). The full policy on alcohol is found here:
http://www.policy.umn.edu/Policies/Operations/OPMisc/ALCOHOL.html
Tailgating - yes, we have this one too.
http://www.policy.umn.edu/Policies/Operations/OPMisc/TAILGATING.html. This
policy, which covers the largest audience, is for our Twin Cities campus.
Other system campuses may have one too, so if you need this, please let me know.
Division -
Twin Cities - NCAA 1 (hockey, basketball, football)
Crookston - NCAA 2 (basketball)
Duluth - NCAA 2 (basketball and football), NCAA 1 (hockey)
Morris - NCAA 3
Rochester - no teams

Looking for info from schools that sell alcoholic beverages in their athletics
venues.

1. What is sold--hard liquor, beer, wine?

2. Do you have a tailgating policy?

3. Which sports venues have alcohol sales (football, basketball, other)?

4. What NCAA division are you?

5. Links to policies.
Thanks!
