Hi Robert,

At the University of Washington we follow the state's alcohol process as
outlined in the UW's WAC
478-136-041<http://www.washington.edu/admin/rules/policies/WAC/478-136-041.html>.
Either a banquet permit (for a single occasion to consume alcohol), a special
occasion license (for a single occasion to consume and sell alcohol) or a
caterer with liquor license is required for events - but not athletics - at
athletic venues. On football game days (the only game at which alcohol is
served), the Husky stadium is required to adhere to a sport entertainment
facility license for alcohol. We don't have a tailgating policy; we are in the
NCAA division 1 sports; and for specifics on the banquet permit or special
occasion license we have Administrative Policy Statement
13.9<http://www.washington.edu/admin/rules/policies/APS/13.09.html>.

My best,

Rebecca

Subject: [acupa-l] athletics venues alcohol policies

Looking for info from schools that sell alcoholic beverages in their athletics
venues.

1. What is sold--hard liquor, beer, wine?

2. Do you have a tailgating policy?

3. Which sports venues have alcohol sales (football, basketball, other)?

4. What NCAA division are you?

5. Links to policies.
Thanks!
