Hi Bob. Attached is FIU's University Regulation (approved by our Board of Trustees) addressing the sale and consumption of alcohol at specified locations during athletic events and tailgating. FIU does not have an alcohol policy; however, we do have drug free campus/alcohol abuse prevention policy, located here: http://policies.fiu.edu/files/754.pdf FIU is a member of Conference USA. http://www.conferenceusa.com/ot/about-c-usa.html Hope this is helpful. What is sold--hard liquor, beer, wine? Under (1)(c)1. Definitions: The term "alcohol" or "alcoholic beverage", as used in this regulation, includes beer, wine, hard liquor, distilled spirits, mixed drinks, and other beverages containing ethyl alcohol. 2. Do you have a tailgating policy? 3. Which sports venues have alcohol sales (football, basketball, other)? 4. What NCAA division are you? 5. Links to policies. Thanks! /RS/ _________________________________________________________ Robert Schur, JD Exec.
