Eliza,

I assume that when you talk about registration, you mean that in the sense that
you are tracking programs that involve minors, not the registration of the
actual participants in a program.

At Purdue, programs for minors can be sponsored by just about any department or
entity, and the steps to get the program set up and get participants registered
varies. However, any program that involves minors must complete an online
registration and certification form, which you can view here:
https://purdue.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cDbV5YspZgcOCjz. We used an online
survey tool called Qualtrics to create the form. Qualtrics is the company our
university contracts with (as opposed to something like Survey Monkey). This
registration process has only been in place since the beginning of this year,
so I can tell you that setting up the survey was really easy, but I can't yet
speak to the ease of use in reviewing/auditing the collected data.

If you want to know more about Qualtrics, let me know, and I can get you in
touch with someone who has more technical expertise.

Subject: [acupa-l] Minors on Campus -- Registration software

Good morning.

We are moving from paper registration (Excel submission via email) for all
minors programs and camps to an online registration system. We are in the
process of developing software requirements, talking to peer institutions and
learning about what is being used. Our goal is to have a new system in place
in April.

We've seen some home grown systems that are very impressive, but they could be
more than we need. Is anyone using out of the box software that maybe you have
customized? We would even be interested to know about software that hasn't
worked and why.

Thank you in advance.
