Ours is actually a "police ordnance" policy approved by our Board of
Trustees:
https://www.oakland.edu/policies/health-and-safety/640/

The difference is that our police respond.

The statement in the ordnance is:
4.11a *Fires.* No person shall cause or allow open burning on the campus
except under the supervision of or with authorization by the Director of
Police or a designee.
