Automagically is one of my favorite words to describe things in MS that
just don't make any sense at all.....

Once the Domain has been renamed do we have to rejoin

Do you have to unjoin them first. The articles may say
this but didn't have a chance to read them all yet
Thanks

Any word on when there will be a tool to assist with
domain renaming with Exchange 2007?

Then it's up to you. Google rendom, and the Exchange
rename tool, on Microsoft's support site.
It's probably easier to rename the domain. There is
something to be said for "starting fresh" as well.

Subject: Domain rename
Hi.
We are a college and we are changing out name thus the
domain name will have to be changed.
I am running AD on windows 2003 serve and exchange 2003
for email.. Is it best to setup a new domain and migrate users to that
or try to rename the current one in place.
Any suggestions would be helpful
Thanks
Ryan

Actually I call things that I know don't work, even thought M$ says they
do as Craptacular!
That could go for the coders and there stuff on the other threat, but
don't get me going on bad code.
