Our primary focus should remain Linux, but related issues (other
free/open software, digital rights, crypto freedom) should have a place
too.

That's more a matter of internal debate within the Linux community; we've
had a few major arguments on the TLUG list about the relative merits (on
the two extremes) of the original Netscape license vs. the Qmail license.
I think CLUE should be broad enough to encompass everything that's
happening in the Linux community, although we might preferentially
promote free-as-in-both-beer-and-speech software.  Providing some
guidance and wisdom to keep the exchange of ideas within our community
relatively flame-free might help too.
