How to wisely spend the fund is the purpose of my proposition. The same way a program director manage money and ressources for a program or a business line in a company, our new "foundation" manage the same thing `a la' OSS. Same techniques are applied. There is no sorcery here. ;-) The only exception is the goal which is to make evolve the OSS instead of making money. I am currently coming back from France where I was living and working the last year. I am unemployed (enjoying the summer). If I could get some OSS projects as a consultant instead of having a traditional job, I could benifit of such structure and also I could be part of its board. The gain is not only for me but also for the whole canadian industry. (But I am sure I don't have to convince you on that point.) Basically, I am proposing to make (part of) us an industry actor.
