The idea is to get it together and leave it on auto-pilot when its
big enough. I don't know _why_ there is such a low turn out of
female Linux users/coders at my local LUG but it's very noticable.
Also I don't know what such a SIG would really want to do for
itself. I want to kickstart it and see where it goes after the
second or third meet (by then I'd just be peripherally involved.)

That being said if a female UNIX person in Toronto wanted to do this
right now I'd just leave it up to them.

You can start one there. I'd like to get something open here in
Toronto with a webpage and mailing list and then fork out.

I'm going to see what I can get done through Digitaleve and whatever
other contacts I get. I would be happy to share notes with you about
connecting this up to the west coast too.
