There is some history here that you may not be aware of. Hence my 
suggestion for CLUE to provide a "service yet to be defined" to LUG's if 
  there is to be a solid funding model that relies on LUG's as funding 
source points in part. ie: source of funds. A national organization for 
Linux Users of which LUGS are only a small part will need to present a 
substantial value propositions prior to releasing a cost formula for 
LUG's specifically. Otherwise it will just fade ways again.

What you are suggesting can be obtained on any LUG list or google 
search. The key IMHO will be to go way beyond that but that is a bit 
premature to define "way beyond that"  at this time as CLUE has no 
definition at this time, which I for one am hoping where this discussion 
will evolve towards sooner than later.
