  Roy,

A few things I'll comment on:

1) I don't think a centralized web site is possible for "Linux" as a whole,
or movement. Applications, maybe. Specific distros, yes. But, I simply
don't think it's possible to have a (successful) central Linux advocacy site
(whether it be political or commercially oriented). The politics in this
crowd (Hey, Ken, stop beating around the bush and just speak your mind) are
too diverse - and quite frankly, divisive - to assemble anything anyone
outside would take to represent a 'cross-section'.

2) I tend to think your statement "This would operate similar to a LUG only
not for geeks, but for suits." points to the fact that perhaps what you're
suggesting is something LUGs are better capable of tackling than the
Sisyphean task of herding cats up a hill that a centralized - and
representative - Linux advocacy site would be. Some LUGs may even find this
a little politicized for their liking, to be honest.

3) Looking at this analogously to the operating system itself, it's a rather
chaotic thing, Linux. I think it's a thing best supported (and perhaps most
effectively proliferated) by small groups of individuals than large,
orchestrated movements. So, perhaps war is not what you should be seeking,
but rather following a path that flows steadily, confidently forward.

Regardless of what I say, however, congratulations for the effort and
motivation :)
