Frank -
    Wow . . . I'm offended - despite Michael Moore's incredible
film-making talent, there are many of us who do not agree with his use
of it (and I'm really holding back here) - could you please keep your
politics to yourself? Your last paragraph should have covered your
question without the racial/political tirade - this is not the place for
it.

---Okay, now that a handful of people have traded offense for offense, let's
get to the point.

A person on the list posted something that sounds like they might be
"monitoring" any unseemly
tactics by persons posing as "officials".

What "army" they belong to isn't as important as the fact that they are
doing something to make a record of what happened, and that might be useful
to everyone, seeing as how it is possible for vote tampering and voter
intimidation to occur from either side.
It happens, it's happened before and it is still happening today, even in
the USA.

Frank, I am not a part of any "army" devoted to this or that political
satirist, but yes, I WILL be doing some "surreptitious" surveillance of my
local polling place on the off chance that what happened last election
happens again.

What happened in 2000 was that a few overzealous committee workers tried to
pass themselves off as polling officials. People complained and they were
"run off", but it might happen again and they might try different tactics
this time.

Since too many people are making hay out of whose ox was gored I will leave
the details of the party involved a mystery.

Well, this time, if it happens there will be a record of it and to that end
I am using a lipstick camera with a 802.11g transmitter. The bluetooth
receiver is connected to a very high gain directional antenna at my house
and I have already made a successful test. Tomorrow all I have to do is
climb a tree and turn on the lipstick cam and go home and start capturing.

If it happens again, the offending party will never know what hit em.

I am hoping that nothing will happen and all I end up with is a hard drive
full of very boring footage.
Interesting as it might be, I will be very upset if this sort of underhanded
tactic takes place again in my area.
