about the s-video. i understand it replaces the yellow rca cable. is the s-video an input and output cable? how can i record from my anolog tape to my comp? i was thinking: i connect the camcorder to the tv from the output. then on the tv, i record it onto the dvd recorder, put it in my comp, and then extract it. HOW WOULD I DO IT WITH THE S-VIDEO CABLE?
