You asked:  Circuit City here in the south charges $29 USD for a DVD
player.  And will we ever out do that damn Euro!?!?  Before you know it,
the Peso will be worth more. ;-)

How many: 99%. I think all today's and future players and TVs can handle

both PAL and NTSC, so in the future when all people got rid of all the 
"old" equipment, it will be 100%

BUT today I still have customers who insist on getting their movies on
VHS. 
I tell them that for less than $100 they can buy a DVD player with much 
better quality than a VHS deck but still they insist on VHS.

LOL

How cheap are DVD players in the USA anyway? Here in France you'll find 
them for 39 euro already, that's about 45 dollars.
