You asked: Circuit City here in the south charges $29 USD for a DVD player. And will we ever out do that damn Euro!?!? Before you know it, the Peso will be worth more. ;-) -----Original Message----- From: Rieni [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, January 12, 2005 7:19 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [AP] [OT] NTSC, PAL & Computer Video At 12-01-2005 23:33, Julian Baldwin wrote: >I'd be really interested to know how many USA/Canada DVD players will handle >unregionalised PAL discs. How many: 99%. I think all today's and future players and TVs can handle both PAL and NTSC, so in the future when all people got rid of all the "old" equipment, it will be 100% BUT today I still have customers who insist on getting their movies on VHS. I tell them that for less than $100 they can buy a DVD player with much better quality than a VHS deck but still they insist on VHS. LOL How cheap are DVD players in the USA anyway? Here in France you'll find them for 39 euro already, that's about 45 dollars. Rieni _____ Yahoo!
