If you have been recording in SP mode, having another mini-dv cam is fine, there's no lost of quality per say, but instead of buying a 1ccd one, you should also considering getting a 3ccd Panasonic gs70 or something similar, they are right now at about $500 price range. This way, you get to have another cheap 3ccd one as a desk player at the same time, you can use it to do pickup shots quickly with it or use as 2nd cam (note, matching two different cam's lighting source might be something hard but not difficult to accomplish).

I really want to stop that, so can I buy a cheap Mini DV camcorder to use for capturing, or will it affect the quality? Yahoo! Groups Links Yahoo!
