My wife and I have been shooting weddings for over three years and they
all suck. I hate weddings because of the stress levels that they
create. You get one take.

1)Never use used tape
2)Always shoot with 2+ cameras
3)Take advantage of the free food and booze if available ;-)

Rick - after several weddings, you'll relax a bit. For your first
wedding I read a lot of "overkill" on your part. It's not the Oscars
and even with two cameras and some fancy editing, you will pull it off.
I had one wedding where the DV tape for cam1 was bad and cam2 sucked
because the rehearsal didn't match the actual wedding and was out of
place. They decided to make last minute changes and not tell us.

For the wedding videographers in this group, I would suggest going to
http://www.fastforwardclub.com <http://www.fastforwardclub.com/> They
have a great forum for wedding shooters, plus some other useful info.

The two cameras mounted in the church are hooked to a VCR. I also
shot with two digital camcorders, so I have a little editing to do!
