do not presume that changing the capture card will speed up rendering. like i said CPU...but you need to consider this. if you have one hard drive that'll slow things down because your OS (in this XP which takes up a lot of resources) then you need to get a second drive for your video and let XP have the "system" drive. with that said you need to visit:
