Thanks Glen, I am aware of the "msconfig" program but I don't know what has to be left running. I hate to mess with it because WinXP seems to be so fragile I am afraid I will mess it up and the stuff on this computer has been there so long I don't want to lose it. Do you know what has to be left running?
I just ordered a new motherboard and cpu etc to rebuild one of my other computers. I will dedicate that to this project. Adobe must have some stock in Microsoft to make the software only run on WinXP. I much prefer Win2000... Thanks again.
