My 2 cents, when I bought my laptop I knew I had to by an external drive @
7200 rpm. I setup my premiere to capture to the external. I have had no
drop frames. Hope that helps.

Subject: [AP] dropped frames

I just a a new laptop and premiere keeps dropping frames when I try to
capture. I never had this problem on my desktop and my laptop is more
powerful. I cant seem to figure out the problem. Any thoughts? Thanks.
