Hi there. I'm new to the group and I may be asking a question that's
already been asked, so I beg pardon...
Is there ANY way to get Pro 2.0 to install without having to have SSE2
on the CPU?
I bought the software on the inaccurate information of an AMD rep that
mine supported SSE2 and now I can't return the software. The only
answer a very arrogant rep at Adobe suggested was buy a new computer
-- which wouldn't necessarily solve the problem. I've tried installing
on 8 different computers, three bought in the last year, and it only
installed on one that was custom built a year and a half ago.
What is SSE2? Why would Adobe limit their software installing on
computers that only had these CPU? No other vid editing software
company has (I've discovered this after two weeks of dealing with this
crud). Could someone explain that to me as well?
