You can take your drive to a data retrieval specialist who can help.
There are some online or you may find a local one. As long as your
drive isn't damaged theres a good chance to get the data back.
My other suggestion is to always have an external hard drive with
backup software. After every session (or so) back up your entire
drive so that if anything ever gets lost you can retrieve it from the
duplicate drive. Back up software allows you to only back up whatever
changes occured since the last back up. That way you don't have to
transfer 100s of gigs every time you back up.
I have lost so much data (due to drive crashes) that it's virtually
like my house had burned down :-( ... So, ya'll should have external
back up drives!

contained all of the captures for an old project. The folder was over
11gig so it bypassed the trash bin & permanently deleted it. The
project may need to be updated sometime in the future so I'd REALLY
like to try & recover the folder. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm on a PC.
