Thanks for the replies everyone.  I should have re posted, because I 
found a solution.  I knew the files would still be there until 
written over, so I did a web search & found a program that recovered 
the files.  It cost a whopping $39.00, I downloaded it & it worked 
perfectly.  The only drawback was that it took about 5 hours to 
recover the files, so I lost that editing time... but the studio is 
much cleaner now!
