Edward, Johnny & David
Thanks you very much for your valuable comments.

  I've few more questions:
  1. If i have a 120GB(system drive) and a 80GB HDD(data drive) is it true that
system drive should not be used for NLE activities?
  2. My timeline is around 1 Hr. 20 Mins. Would you recommend any specific
encoding setting for this duration. I'm confused between various NTSC high/low
quality, 1-pass/2-pass, 4MB/7MB, CBR/VBR etc.

  Thanks in advance
  Amit

          Amit,

Might I recommend exporting from premiere as uncompressed AVI files and letting
Encore do the encoding?

It's probable that you're encoding out of Premiere and then RE-encoding with
Encore.

I do this for all my movies and the results are terrific.

Cheers,

Edward
