Do you have any candidates for an acceptable video card under $300? Last
time I checked this issue out it looked like I would have to pay out over a
thousand but perhaps technology has improved or prices have dropped.

Subject: [AP] Faster Rendering

Hello everyone,

I have PPro 1.5 and am using Win XP with 1 GB RAM and 2.8 processor.
As a home user, I would like to find a way to speed up rendering in
Premiere.

Given a limited budget, am I better off with more RAM or a video
editing card? I guess it's a speed vs money thing, but if I could find
an "acceptable" video editing card for under $300 I suspect that would
be the way to go.

Any opinions on RAM vs card would be appreciated, as would suggestions
for a video editing card.

TIA,
RR
