According to Adobe Help Center, all markers except Stop Points are valid
without a menu for auto-play DVDs. I have tested this under Preview, and it
works fine. Unfortunately, many of my projects final output is around 2 hours
long and PP2 DVD burning just refuses to handle it. It also really grieves me
that although Dual Layer DVDs have been around for some time, Adobe are such
dinosaurs that PP2 can't handle them. Exporting the entire project complete
with markers outside PP2 is another matter and I'm still struggling to get it
to work with third party authoring programs.

Quote from Adobe Help Center:
"An auto-play DVD contains no menus. Instead, it plays automatically when you
insert the disc into a DVD player. Although it has no menus, you can set DVD
markers so that the Next and Previous buttons on the DVD player's remote
control jump to specific points in the movie. An auto-play DVD does not
distinguish between main menu markers and scene markers, so you can add either
for use by the Next and Previous buttons. Auto-play DVDs ignore stop markers."

Alan.

Are you creating a menu with user-selectable chapter
screens? Without a menu system, chapter points don't
do anything on a DVD.
