Hi David,

Your assumption is true. Certain formats, will have less video/audio data,

And therefore will become even more grainy or lossey, after any further

compression. This affects both audio and video components,

Each video that you upload at YouTube, has a 10meg file size limit.

Sune's suggestion to upload your best quality format is correct.

Sandra

Hi Sune.

I was under the impression that the video had to be in a certain format to
be accepted, but the poor quality of so much of their video made me wonder.
The clip I have in mind is about five minutes long, and rights wouldn't be
an issue for me in this case.

Hi!
How long is your clip?
Upload as the highest quality possible, and let them do the compression.

I'd like to add that I removed my clips from Youtube because of the total
waver of rights you have to agree when putting your work "up there".

Sune!
