If Windows fails to start up, how can you copy to the system folder mostly in c:\windows\system32..., the msvcp7.dll you find from the Internet?
I ask this because I, too, have a very similar problem. Mine is a "missing or corrupt hal.dll" that I have been trying to figure out how to get into the Windows system32 folder so that my desktop computer will once again start up. I have been trying to do this for a year, hoping that I will not have to lose everything that I have installed on the desktop by having to use the Restore Disk Set provided by HP. I still have not figured out how to get a file into Windows when I cannot get Windows to start up to put in the file in the system folder. I cannot copy and paste, a Windows feature, when Windows fails to start up. But, I am ever hopeful. I know this seems off topic to Adobe-Premiere, but, I had installed my Adobe products on my desktop and have not been able to use them there; I had to install them on my notebook. I am now using Adobe on my notebook as this seemingly little detail is preventing me from using the Adobe-Premiere on my desktop.
