Hi Taky,

I just ordered this Canon XH-A1. I read that the cons are that it has 
a very small LCD screen and that it doesn't record in 720p. Frame 
mode is still in 1080i which I can live with.

This is going to be my first Canon camcorder, apart from the above 
two cons it better be good, otherwise we will have to repeat the 
Michael Pappas saga. hahahaha.

To what tapedeck can I copy the footage by the way? Not to ordinary 
DVCAM decks I assume? At first I will transfer directly from 
camcorder to computer but it would be nice being to able to write to 
bigger tape first, to keep camcorder mechanical stress at minimum.
