Hi George, just install Windows media encoder, I know premiere comes with one under export encoding, but I like to have a lot more control with my work to provide a good quality for playback...
So what I usually do is exporting the finished video to a good quality avi file format (if you shot it with dv, export it out to dv, I usually do not have recompress checked - one of the option in export). And use that to encode for web, for dvd, whatever. Now run windows media encoder and select convert a file, and add the finished avi file and then go through the wizard, use the web server (progressive download), high speed content video option, keep bitrate at 323kpbs, then finish, it will export a size small enough for emailing. I use the same encoding settings for my youtube/yahoo/google/voeh/myspace/facebook/directorsandproducers, etc videos. Sometimes, I even encode it as a flash video file FLV (using Flix Pro) as it seems to keep a really nice synced video compared to wmv output (again depending). Now, I know most servers have problem with file size that is over 5meg so if it's that a large wmv size, you might want to try zipping it down (probably .5meg less) or just put it on a website like yousendit or a server for people to download.
