Assuming 2.0 has the same multi-camera facility CS3 has, the Help explains
this.

1. Create a sequence for the multi-camera's

2. Put the video with the good audio on track 1, stack other videos
above it.

3. Put a clip marker 0 on each track (Marker > Set Clip Marker > Next
Available Numbered in CS3), selecting 1 track at a time, positioned at the
electronic flash point. Expand the timeline track to its max to make certain
each marker is frame accurate.

4. Select all tracks, then Clip > Synchronize > Numbered Clip Marker
'0'.

5. Create another sequence for the target video.

6. Drag the multi-camera sequence from the Project Panel into the
target sequence, and select it (actually I don't know if it has to be
selected).

7. With the target sequence active in the timeline panel, open the
Multi-Camera window. There will be a thumbnail for each camera

8. Click its Record button, then click Play. The CTI will begin
moving.

9. Click on each camera's thumbnail to choose which will be in the
target video. The thumbnail outlined in red is the one being "recorded".

10. When done, use the Rolling Edit tool to fine-tune the camera switch
points.

11. Note the only audio used is what was placed on Track 1 in the multi
sequence regardless which camera's video is used in the target.

Hoping PPro 2.0 is similar to CS3.

Subject: [AP] Cutting between two cameras - what simple way?

I have two avi files from two DV camcorders working 16:9. The
camcorders were left running during a wedding with two angles on the
unhappy couple. The timecodes are not locked, one starting
00:00:20:01 after the other (got exact frame match from an electronic
flash). Guess it took 20 seconds for me to walk across from one
camcorder to the other. The 'clips' are about 30 minutes each.

I simply want to cut video between the two cameras at relevant points.
I am using a friends machine with Premiere Pro 2.0 and retain the
higher quality audio from camera 1 which had a pair of mics located
near the couple.

Any guidance as to how to get started on this please.

Richard
