Thanks for the help.  I now have the clips set up and synchronised 
and am able to to the transitions in the Multi-Camera window.  This 
is where I burn the midnight oil.

Regarding the flash sync - The flash duration is less than one frame 
so only one frame fully brightens up.  Accurate to 1/25 second (I 
work in PAL).
