Either right click on My Computer on the desktop then click properties or
Start, Run winver

You can also go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com and choose Custom instead of
Express. If you have no Service Pack or have SP1 or SP2 it'll have SP2 or SP3
as a selection.

This utility will recover a lot of space used by service pack and hotfix
uninstaller backups.

CCleaner will fully clear out temporary files and browser caches which tend to
accumulate files that the normal cleanup processes won't delete, mostly because
of crashes of software or Windows. It also has a utility to clean the Registry
and manage what runs at startup.
