Adriane, While I lately use an AVCHD camera, only a few days ago I captured to
CS4 (working on Win7) with my HV20 (dependable camera).
No problems on firewire. The Canon HV20 series DOES have a firewire outlet.
This has to be used, and set capture input as HDV. Nevertheless there have been
times when capturing thus into Premiere has been frustrating. Turning off the
program and then trying again a number of times seemed the only way. But I
haven't had much trouble lately. As you are aware, the video image doesn't show
in preview while capturing. Kelvin
