Hi Uwe,
thanks for the advice. I actually did the update 4.2.1- was just wondering if i 
missed anything by not installing the previous updates.
and i got the media encoder update last night, so i shall apply it today.
when i do install CS5- then would i install the 64-bit media encoder?
