For 6.5, just about anything current for which you can get drivers for Windows 
XP will flat out fly. Though I suspect 6.5 will manage to suck at editing lossy 
codec video no matter how much power the hardware has. 6.5 is designed for 
editing uncompressed or lossless compressed video. It also works decently with 
MJPEG (Motion JPEG) where every frame is a complete JPEG image. For videos that 
don't store every frame as a complete image, AP 6.5 performs very poorly.

For CS5 you'll want a 64bit CPU with multiple cores and 64 bit Vista or Windows 
7 and at least 4 gigs RAM.

For either version you want as much hard drive capacity as you can get/afford.
