I'm very happy with it, the picture quality is good for my purpose, nothing
professional just home movies, and its easy to use. At first I wasn't
particularly interested in its 3D capabilities but after testing it a few times
it actually works quite well on my Samsung 3D TV. I'm now trying to work out
how to create 3D titles!

But as for editing, you do need a modern beefy PC to cope with the AVCHD
compression.
