Rieni, I agree with Uwe on the GFX card, although most CUDA (NVIDIA) cards 'should' work, although if you can go with the list it will be easier. Keep well clear of Intel GFX cards.
The i7 is the 'top dog' in Intel processors, especially the new 'Sandy Bridge' ones, make sure you get one of those if you can. The memory is OK, but get as much as you can afford. 16GB is more like it. If you want even more speed, get a RAID 0 (Zero) 'striped' hard drive array, where two identical hard drives work together to increase the data throughput immensely. Another way of keeping it fast is to NOT use it on the Internet at all. All that spy/adware and antivirus software slows everything down. Neil.
