I've shot 30 minute clips with my GH2 and audio
recorded with the DR100 and synced it on the
timeline and at the end of the clip the audio is
still in sync and I don't have to correct the
syncing anymore. When working with Zoom
recordings I'm correcting sync all the time, it's
really annoying. I will try to do a field test
using the GH2 and the Zoom and the DR100 soon,
let it run for at least one hour and film
waterdrops falling down and put the resulting
video on my website. I will first check if there
really is a firmware update fix for the Zoom and
install that first. Well no - not a good idea. I
will first do the test, then do the firmware
upgrade and then do the test again.
