I got the previous one, the i7-3770 which performs well enough for me.
Just consider one thing.
The 4770K can be run on overclocking - do you want that??
You would need additional (expensive) cooling for that.
You can get the i7-4770 without overclocking with otherwise the same
performance but cheaper.
