As a part of my new purchase using hte i7-4770k, I have planed to use the water cooler from Corsair (H110?). This is probably my last purchase for a long time as my current system is nearing 10 years old and the 'ol system is still purring away nicely, but slowly.
I am curious to see just how effective overclocking will be during rendering. I'm hoping to move toward the 'bleeding edge' of this technology. Again, a hearty thanks to all respondents. --- In [email protected], Uwe Soltau <lenseye.uwe@...> wrote: > > > I got the previous one, the i7-3770 which performs well enough for me. > Just consider one thing. > The 4770K can be run on overclocking - do you want that?? > You would need additional (expensive) cooling for that. > You can get the i7-4770 without overclocking with otherwise the same > performance but cheaper. > > Uwe > > > First I would like to thank all those who have responded.
