Novell Server "selective" backup

To All,

I would like to schedule (from my ADSM 3.1.2.40 server) a "selective" backup of
a Novell server. I want to backup the entire Novell server with the exception
of the "excludes" define in my inclexcl file. The Novell client documentation
does not show a clear example of this. I've tried:

nodename\*:*
nodename\*:*.*
*
*:*.*
etc....

I've also contacted ADSM support and they've been no help.

Any ideas....
