Does not really help.
We can reproduce the same error on the other server, while that one
operating smooth....

I happened to be an AIX guy for 4 years now :) So we checked the log,
the device status, and as I said we even upgraded the microcode.
Right now I am also talking to the IBM support guy on irc.
And I am an IBMer too...
