Does AutoVault has the capability to take into consideration that the tapes
need to be offsite regardless of the fact that it has a copy pool or not?
Basically trying to ask if it covers both scnarios?
Thanks

The only way to send them offsite is to copy them to a copypool. DRM will
not send your archive tapes offsite. We use AutoVault (www.coderelief.com)
instead of DRM for offsite vaulting. It can vault your clients archive
tapes offsite without the need to copy them to a copypool. It can also
vault backupsets if they decide to go that route.
