An update Del. I thought I had it figured out but it still does not work. If I do a show version like you suggested I see this:

What bothers me is that it says in the backup (and during expiration) MC: DEFAULT. Where does it get that from? The node is registered in the policy domain TDP-EXCHANGE-V2. I added include statements in the option file to specify the management class TDP-V2-DAILY. Where is it getting MC: DEFAULT from??? I think it's time to call support. I have 45 copies totaling 405gb when the most I should have is 7 totaling around 180gb. (my IS is 28gb so 7*28=182). Thanks for your help. Once I find something out I will let you know. So you are probably seeing the various "objects" that make up the one "logical" backup. You can go to your TSM Server and issue "SHOW VERSION nodename *" and see the parts that make up each "logical" backup. Your policy settings look fine.
